Mvc5-not-yet-working-on-mono

Modified MVC 5 template to show what does/doesn't yet work.

###Building and partially running Asp.Net MVC5 on Mono

This template is created from the Visual Studion 2012 template

Which I then updated via NuGet (in Visual Studio still), which updated it to MVC 5.

The conversion from MVC 4 to MVC 5 is described at:

Except: I skipped step 2, upgrading to WebApi 2 because this is trying to get MVC working, getting WebApi2 is another issue. So instead I just commented out the WebApi.Config(...) call. We'll come back to that.

The changes made to run it on mono are the same as those described at

The HtmlHelper : This @Html.ActionLink("Home", "Index", "Home") errors with the below stack trace:

Method not found: 'System.Web.Routing.RouteCollection.get_AppendTrailingSlash'.

The property AppendTrailingSlash (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.routing.routecollection.appendtrailingslash(v=vs.110).aspx) appears to be new in.Net 4.5 System.Web.dll so the next step would be adding it to the Mono System.Web.Routing.RouteCollection class.
