Mixxx 2.3.0 Beta with the PaleMoon theme, the deck size is set to "Compact". My DJ-Controller (Denon MC7000) has a quite good built-in VU meter, so I always used to switch off the Mixxx own VU meter to take benefit from having a bit bigger decks and overviews.

Since the last few commits I'm unable to switch off the VU meter in Mixxx anymore. The checkbox "VU meters" in settings has no effect, so the VU meters are always shown, also if the checkbox isn't set.
Hope that someone can also confirm this issue.

Gentoo Linux 64-Bit, Mixxx-2.3.0 Beta (commit 00526be).

Regards,

Marco
