Removing silence from files with "hidden" tracks?

In much the same way there is an option to remove silence from the beginning and end of tracks, it would be helpful to have some way of automatically skipping over long spaces of silence in the middle of tracks.

I have a large library of music and no idea which albums have these tracks and no time to go through it all, but occasionally the AutoDJ will populate Mixxx with one and I wind up with sometimes minutes of silence.

I think this would best be done with the macro feature to jump from one cue to another. Unfortunately development of this has stalled: #2989
