When broadcasting Opus to an Icecast 2-KH9 server Mixxx actually connects to the server, however it doesn't seem to send the audio stream at all (in Mixxx the AutoDJ is running and playing) and after the source timeout period specified at the server configuration the server rejects the source(Mixxx). its worth to mention that from Mixxx side it doesn't recognize that it was disconnected and the broadcast status at Mixxx remain as if its online. Attached are the logs from the server demonstrating no data is reaching the server.

  • MP3 broadcast works just fine.
  • From another broadcast software Opus broadcasting to the same server works fine.

I can't spot an obvious issue. Can you also attach the mixxx.log from a faulty run?

This would be the relevant log record:
Warning [ShoutOutput 'Opus Server']: EncoderOpus - FIFO buffer too small, losing samples! required: 16384 ; available: 0
Still happens at Mixxx 2.3.3

@Yahav Now we have a windows build for testing: https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/suites/11465724794/artifacts/591767518
Is Opus broadcasting now working?

Can you please help test the build? Else the fix will not be part of 2.3.5l
