Bug Description

We never got reports with the old non-GL VU-Meters on Windows (and maybe Linux too). This was only an issue on macOS.
Now some users are affect by unresponsive UI on Windows. I suggest to change the Windows default for 2.3.6 to --disable-vumetergl.
In 2.4 this is already done - together with other changes.

I'm not affect by this myself, but there are reports on our forum.

Version

2.3.5

OS

Windows

@JoergAtGithub This is IMHO a 2.3.6 blocker because it is a regression.
Do you plan to fix it yourself?

I'm currently on holiday, away from my computer - when is it needed?

Soon, before our 2.4 release deadline. But don't feel stressed. I will take a look at it.
