Bug Description

Is there a reason for the Mono RGB waveform? I thing they show "wrong" information, in case the track has hard panned instruments like in early The Beatles tracks.

Not sure if that's "wrong" information (even when put in quotes). All visual waveform representations are data reduction. Representing stereo as mono is just another reduction.

I personally prefer to mono representation over the L/R mapped to positive/negative Y representation. I might prefer a true dual track representation.

Rekordbox has these "Half Waveforms" for mono visualization.

In two deck mode, these look good to me. But I personally prefer "Full Waveforms" with stereo information.
Would it be possible to add a switch to change the mode of a waveform instead of two different waveform types?

Displaying only a half waveform and thereby saving screen space is IMHO the only reason for making a distinction between mono and stereo rendering. But then this should be name differently like "full" vs. "half" waveform.

Always think from the perspective of users. Using the terms "mono" and "stereo" could confuse them, because they assume it affects the audio. It is a visual thing!
