Ctrl+P doesn't open Preferences with German locale #13108

Bug Description

Works with my system locale (lang en_GB, date, numbers etc . de_DE).

might be yet another quirk with my locale mix but maybe someone can reproduce

Managed to reproduce it with env LC_MESSAGES=de_DE.UTF8 mixxx on FreeBSD. Works fine with env LC_MESSAGES=pl_PL.UTF-8.

Maybe it is related to the fact that Ctrl+P is translated to Strg+P ? What is interesting is that the shortcut is no longer shown in the menu. But some Ctrl shortcuts do work when using German version.
