I've got a Digi003 attached to my PC, which i attempted to use as the input for the Vinyl Control. It runs on ASIO drivers for this software.
I can freely select any of the 9 pairs of outputs for the Mains/Headphone Cue Outs, but with the inputs it doesn't tell me which pairs it is going to use...

I attempted using a few of the pairs of inputs to use the vinyl control. I was using a Traktor control vinyl on my SL1200 --> Marantz preamp --> 003 --> DJ Mixer. I was receiving sound back to the DJ mixer (ie. I could play a track in Mixxx and have it output on the mixer), but the vinyl control function wouldn't work.

Also, If I launched Mixxx while already playing the control vinyl, Mixxx would crash.

Mixxx is quite a lot of fun as the non-vinyl version though! :P

I forgot to say (and if it wasn't an obvious point) - It would be helpful if we could choose which input pair Mixxx uses for the Vinyl inputs.

This has been a high priority for me for a while, but until a few weeks ago, I lacked a soundcard with multiple inputs. Fortunately now, I do have the hardware, and I've been working on this for the last day or so and will continue to work on it until it's done. Hopefully this will make it into our next beta release, otherwise it will be in the 1.6.0 final. Thanks for the bug report!

First prototype of this is in, needs testing (will be in beta3). This code adds support for consequtive input channel pairs only (eg. {1/2 and 3/4} will work, but something like {1/2 and 5/6} won't). I have code for that, but I need the simpler case tested first.

I have a MOTU Traveller and Presonus FireStudio that I can test against (under Windows). I'm working on getting this building, but, if you want to send me a binary, I can test from that.

I can use the MOTU Traveller in DirectSound split-device mode, but I'd love to push the latency down under ASIO.
