On 1.7beta1 on Ubuntu, the menu launcher has 'command="pasuspender mixxx"' but this doesn't work for me on Ubuntu8.10. 'command=pasuspender mixxx' works, though.

Remove the quotation marks from the launcher (Edit Menu, Edit Mixxx's Properties as a Menu Item). Fixed!
