Status: Fix Released
Importance: High
Launchpad Issue: lp733183
Tags: crash

It happens in latest trunk as well as in 1.9-series

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Select "Analyze" in the library
  2. Select a song
  3. Hit Analyze-Button and watch it crash

I am on Fedora Core 14.

The log says:
Fatal: [AnalyserQueue 2]: ASSERT failure in QList<T>::at: "index out of range", file /usr/include/QtCore/qlist.h, line 456
Abgebrochen (Speicherabzug geschrieben)

I think I know what this is -- when I load an HTML file that has an mp3 extension (i.e. an invalid file) SoundSourceMP3 dies with a very similar assert. obstriegel -- is the file you are loading a valid MP3?

In either case, SSMP3 doesn't handle invalid MP3 files well and should be fixed.

Thanks,
RJ Ryan

Will be fixed in 1.9.1, thanks obstriegel!
