Remote control support: managing Mixxx functions AND playlists/archive (installed e.g. on a notebook) by a smartphone (support of a DLNA/UPnP server) [currently remote control can only be done by midi interface (apps like 'DJcontrol')]
Remark: I could imagine to use MIXXX not only for private parties here it is often difficult to reach or to place your notebook but also for teaching dancing (dance lessons) where I often would like to have special songs in the playlist and modify the tempo!
Here you cannot always run between the player and the middle of the room where you hold the lesson and show things in front of the group.

Thanks for taking the time to file a bug, Falk.

@dustin: We (the Mixxx team) use wishlist bugs to track things like this -- re-targeting all of these against the Mixxx project instead of the Mixxx package.
