Sometimes a user might enable slip mode, then later decide they wanted to just continue without making the jump to the slip position. A function that would disable slip mode without making the jump would be useful, so that they could then reenable slip mode with a new slip position.
I've tested, and setting slip_enable to 1 again after it is already set does not reset the slip position. This behaviour (resetting the slip position) would be helpful, but a slip_clear should really exist also.
