custom effect parameter ranges #8748
Comments
Commented by: Be-ing We could set the full allowed range of many parameters be very wide and by default narrow the range to what we think is most useful. I think it should be possible to edit parameter ranges independently for each instance of an effect as well as save a customized range as the default that will be loaded when that effect is instantiated again later. |
Commented by: ferranpujolcamins We could also let users choose among different curves for the parameter: linear, exponential,... |
Commented by: Be-ing Ferran, would you like to this for 2.2? We are planning to feature freeze 2.2 six months from now. If you want to implement this, please assign yourself to the bug. |
Commented by: harryhaaren +1 this would be a great feature! |

It would be fun to be able to define custom ranges for effect parameters or custom ranges for the meta/superknob linking. This would allow users to get more creative with custom chains and meta/superknobs.
