Mixxx user's guide for the SCS.3m

Latest MIDI mapping & script files

Instructions for use:

1. Save the above files into:

• Windows: C:\Program Files\Mixxx\midi
• OS X: /Applications/Mixxx.app/Contents/midi
• Linux: /usr[/local]/share/mixxx/midi

1. Start Mixxx
2. Open Preferences
3. Choose Midi Controllers
4. Select the "Stanton SCS.3m" or "USB Audio Device"
5. Click the Enabled checkbox in the right pane ("Activate" button on 1.7)
6. Drop down the list and choose the "Stanton SCS.3m" mapping
7. Click OK and you're good to go.

1.8.x

Stanton's DaRouter is not used with Mixxx. Close it before starting.

The latest official MIDI mapping and script file are in the 1.8 release branch and can be downloaded from here:

• Stanton SCS.3m.midi.xml
• Stanton-SCS3m-scripts.js

Quirks

• Only one side's LEDs will react to Flanger controls at a time

1.7.x

Stanton's DaRouter is not used with Mixxx 1.7.0 and higher. Close it before starting Mixxx.
