Mondegreen Generation in Clojure

“A mondegreen ˈmɒndɪɡriːn is a mishearing or misinterpretation of a phrase as a result of near-homophony, in a way that gives it a new meaning.” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mondegreen

Have you ever played the game where you guess the meaning of a written sentence that, at first, appears to be complete gibberish, but after being read aloud becomes obvious? This game. Have you ever played this game? From what I’ve found the linguistic term that can be used to describe this game is “Mondegreen”, though I think oronynm might be more appropriate.

Whatever the appropriate term, I think this game poses an interesting challenge – figure out how to generate the appropriate gibberish given an arbitrary sentence. I also want to write (what I consider to be) a non-trivial program using Clojure. I will try to make the source as readable as possible to hopefully solicit the advice of more experienced Clojurians.
