- Clone
- Create/Activate virtualenv
- Set Environment variables -
export APP_SETTINGS="yummly.config.DevelopmentConfig"
- Rename yummly/secret_sample.py to yummly/secret.py and update variables
- Create DB -
python create_db.py
- Run - python run.py
- Create App / Push to Heroku
- Add Database -
heroku addons:add heroku-postgresql
- Get Database URI -
heroku config | grep HEROKU_POSTGRESQL
- Add URI to
ProductionConfig
in yummly/config.py (i.e., -SQLALCHEMY_DATABASE_URI = "foobar"
) - Set Environment variables =
heroku config:set APP_SETTINGS="yummly.config.ProductionConfig"
- Create DB -
heroku run python create_db.py
