+The react-native packager will [cache its babel configuration](https://github.com/facebook/react-native/issues/1924), causing any subsequent changes to `.babelrc` to have no effect. [React native 0.12 includes an option to reset the cache](https://github.com/facebook/react-native/commit/59b9dc8829377e9b8a048669bde8fd737c6166f1), but until it lands, simply configure babel inside your webpack configuration, e.g. [BabelES6/webpack.config.js](https://github.com/mjohnston/react-native-webpack-server/blob/bc719bee4a16ea9b773c5d8ccb8d532be8b9306b/Examples/BabelES6/webpack.config.js#L26).
