There are two files missing in tests folder in the .zip downloaded from https://pypi.org/project/IMAPClient/#files:

  • init.py
  • imapclient_test.py

Hmmm very weird. I can confirm that __init__.py and imapclient_test.py are indeed missing.

I'll see if I can get that sorted out. setuptools seems to be skipping them.

Fixed in 3.0.1 which is now released
