Hi!

Thanks for maintaining this fork and making it publicly available. I would like to use it, but there are some old dependencies I don't want to use in my projects.

Also I found some deprecated usage of code no longer supported since Java 9.

I would be very glad if you could merge these little changes and create a new release. Thank you very much!

I moved the repository and decided to publish an own artifact. Since your last commit was in 2016, other pull requests were not discussed and the API is legacy for some time, I thought that this project is no longer maintained. Sorry for the mistake.

@schlm3 I needed some other changes and made an own release for my changes in the fork: https://github.com/drjekyll-org/javapns The artifacts are here: https://search.maven.org/artifact/org.drjekyll/javapns

But I don't want to get into competition with your fork, @mlaccetti Sorry for that!
