I meet the same error. maybe the MLC-LLM hasn't surport Chinese resently.

I'm a native Chinese speaker, but have to admit that I don't fully understand non-ASCII encoding...@spectrometerHBH is an expert in this!

To avoid garbled text in your CMD command line, switch the encoding format by running "CHCP 65001".

It sounds like a solution that solves your problem!
