Fields available in https://earleyj-drupal8.www.lib.umich.edu/databases/advanced should include what is currently on https://www.lib.umich.edu/searchtools#databases/search

See spec at https://docs.google.com/document/d/16e4tU6rPuc--wvToz-JEBnDwckHl9Lm_8sb0PJpceyc/edit#heading=h.eenv2lzfufz6

Tasks

  • @bertrama Ensure all database fields are available to the UI
    Currently missing:
    • Title Starts With
  • @jonearley Ensure all database fields are configured to be available in the UI
  • @varnum Review.

Not really a bug as this feature is still in development. To track each advanced field option that should be working or is not available, that can viewed here: https://tools.lib.umich.edu/confluence/display/LDD/Fielded+Search+Requirements

I think something might be behaving oddly. An advanced database search for "ProQuest" in Title pulls up fewer results than an advanced database search for "ProQuest" in "Title Starts With":

Do you know what might be going on, @bertrama ? This seems counterintuitive.

I'd seen similar behavior before. I made some adjustments. Result counts are now 68 vs 62.
