Triggers: 1. The first trigger comes after making a new fee in the "fees" table. It updates the total "fees" in the "cardholder" table after creating a new "fee" in the "fees" table. 2. After a new "item" is made in the "item" table, if it is a new item with a new isbn number, then it inserts it as a new item in the "inventory" table. If it is not a new item, then it inserts it into the "inventory" table, but updates "totalCopies" in "item" table by 1 and updates "totalAvailable" in the "item" table by 1.

Disclaimer: The Event Scheduler status can not be turned on in the website database due to the lack of Super Privileges that are not granted to users. We tried to gain access to Super Privileges but the service did not offer it. To test the Event that creates the fees, please download the repository and set up the project on your local server. Please note that you will need to change the username and password to match your systems information. You can change those by going to /application/config/database.php. You will also need to change it accordingly in line #3 of the following 3 files:

/application/views/adminfuncs/fetchCheckout.php

/application/views/adminfuncs/fetchFee.php

/application/views/adminfuncs/fetchReservation.php

How we set up our Local Server: We installed Xampp from https://www.apachefriends.org/download.html . Then we placed our project folder (team15dbms) in xampphtdocs . We run xampp with xampp-control.exe and start up Apache and MySQL. From there we can access http://localhost/dashboard/ on our browser which gives us access to phpmyadmin. In phpmyadmin we create a database called team15dbms and we import the schema available in our files into the database. Now we can run the project using the following URL: http://localhost/team15dbms/
