First, you should update library. Library works normally and supports all filesystems and it passes the intensively test for years, Please make sure you try and follow the examples correctly. For RTDB For Firebase Storage and Cloud Storage. And OTA in RTDB and Storages. I recommend Firebase Storage and Google Cloud Storage instead of storing file in RTDB as it stores as a base64 encoded string which the size is 33% increased. You should test your file and check file existent before upload. If the problem existed, please post the simple code that can produce the issue and the debug result here. |

Hello, I´ve been working on a project to save an audio file (wav) in SPIFFS on the ESP32 board, then I must upload that file to firebase. I based my code on an example for image upload to firebase from the ESP32CAM SPIFFS which worked perfectly, then, based on that, I copy / paste this code and implemented in the normal ESP32 board, modiffied and adapted for WAV file recording (audio instead of picture), I was able to save the wav file in SPIFFS and name it as I wanted, average size 641 Kb. I get connection with firebase, token, status ready, but never able to upload the file:
File name Size
recording.wav 655404 bytes
Token info: type = id token (GITKit token), status = on request
Token info: type = id token (GITKit token), status = ready
Uploading audio…
Of course I´ve changed the mime type, and tried with different names, also I have tried using the same name as picture and same mime type but no success, I wonder if you have worked with audio uploads from esp32 in firebase, I would appreciate if you send me a link with info or documentation in order to solve my problem.
thanks in Advance,
Juan
