Quoted from automx INSTALL file:

To provision Apple iOS devices or Mac OS X Mail, you need to place the file
automx.html somewhere in your document root of your webserver. After that you
can use your iOS device and open the Safari browser calling this website. After
entering the form data, you will receive a mobileconfig file and the device
switches to the settings assistent. On Mac OS X, you also can call this
document and save it to disk. After opening it, the profile manager opens and
the steps are similar to iOS. For signed profiles see the man page automx.conf
(5).

@stefaweb I've just tested it and it works fine.

Where should be placed the "automx.html" file?

@stefaweb Anywhere you want, just make it accessible from a browser. The installer will handle it soon.

Hi @tonioo!

Is /srv/automx/instance (root in Nginx) or /srv/automx/automx-master/src/html/ the right place to place the automx index.html.fr file ?

Do we need to rename index.html.fr to index.html or let the the files as this:

/srv/automx/automx-master/src/html/

drwxr-xr-x 2 automx automx 4096 Feb 11 2018 css
drwxr-xr-x 2 automx automx 4096 Feb 11 2018 img
-rw-r--r-- 1 automx automx 3172 Feb 11 2018 index.html.de
-rw-r--r-- 1 automx automx 3124 Feb 11 2018 index.html.en
-rw-r--r-- 1 automx automx 3191 Dec 14 10:45 index.html.fr
drwxr-xr-x 4 automx automx 4096 Feb 11 2018 js

Cheers,

@tonioo Looks like the right place, but you need to rename it to index.html. You can also create a symlink.
