Installation Guide

# Connect to the internet
## if you are using wifi, please run the following command
wifi-menu
## else
dhcpcd

# Update the system clock
timedatectl set-ntp true

# Partition the disks
## if your block device is nvme0n1
## follow the tips to partition the disk
cfdisk /dev/nvme0n1

## list the partition
fdisk -l

# Format the partitions
mkfs.ext4 /dev/nvme0n1pX

# Mount the file systems
mount /dev/nvme0n1pX /mnt
mkdir /mnt/boot

## nvme0n1pY is the EFI partition
mount /dev/nvme0n1pY /mnt/boot

# Select the mirrors
## write the mirrors you want at the top of the file
vim /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist

# Install essential packages:qwq
pacstrap /mnt base base-devel linux linux-firmware

# Fstab
## Generate an fstab file (use -U or -L to define by UUID or labels, respectively)
genfstab -U /mnt >> /mnt/etc/fstab

## Check the resulting /mnt/etc/fstab file, and edit it in case of errors
cat /mnt/etc/fstab

# Chroot
arch-chroot /mnt

# Time zone
ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Region/City /etc/localtime
hwclock --systohc

# Install the nesscery packages
## gvim support system clipboard.
pacman -S gvim dialog wpa_supplicant networkmanager dhcpcd

# Localization
## uncomment en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8 and other needed locales
vim /etc/locale.gen
# generate the locales
locale-gen

## Create the locale.conf file, and set the LANG variable accordingly

## Add matching entries to hosts

grub-install --efi-directory=/boot --bootloader-id=ARCH
grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

# Roboot
