@asmijafar20 - can you add more description to your issue? Try to make it clear what the problem is by providing clear examples that others can follow easily.

try using markdown formatting if you need to quote a section of text

The issue:

In the section How is FLINT different from earlier integrating tool.

  • In Point 1 links are dead.
  • In Point 2 on clicking the link it gives warning.

In the How to get involved and FAQs section

  • Some links in this section are changed, dead and no longer available.

The Solution:

  1. Change these links to apt places where the relevant information is hosted.

  2. I'm attaching the screenshots of the links which is not working.

  3. Contributing document and About moja global Wiki are need to be updated.

  4. In FAQs the slack link is not working.

Hey, Asmi!

So, the slack link under the FAQ section seems to be broken across a lot of repositories, and maybe that's for a reason. Harsh would be the best person to comment on that.

Coming to the links under the 'How FLINT is different from earlier integration tools'
I am not the best person to give away the links, because a broken link is okay, but a link that's misleading in nature would be bad.

Nonetheless, I did dig in a little and:
-The link that leads to IPCC Tier 1 to 3 seems to be under construction over here.
-The link second link, on the same line, the site doesn't exist.
-The link in the second point doesn't seem to open due to security reasons.

What could be done is that you can unlink it and comment out the path so that we don't lose the path.
Would love to hear what Shubham and Andrew have to say on this.

Asmi feel free to work on other issues across the repositories while this one is under discussion.

Okay Shloka, thanks for all the info.

What I think is if I add this link "https://unfccc.int/topics/land-use/workstreams/land-use--land-use-change-and-forestry-lulucf " to Land, Land use and forestry in the second point and add activity based reporting such as" https://unfccc.int/topics/land-use/workstreams/redd/what-is-redd" as REDD+ link?

I searched about the terms mentioned in the second point, so came across these links, I think for now we can add these links and make it work.

@aornugent would like to know if i go ahead with these changes or not?

Link 1 - lets wait for the MGD 3 to be released and link to that.
Link 2 - https://gcftf.org/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/REDD_nested_projects.pdf
Link 3 - let's remove it because I don't know specifically what it linked to.

@aornugent, does this link works as the Link1 (tiers of modules) you mentioned above? as I'm using the same link in my modules development document!

If not then I'll wait till this one (in the FLINT Repo) gets updated and will use that one in my modules development document.

Hey @Mohitkumar6122, that's a good suggestion. The original link was to the Methods and Guidance Documentaiton which is the authoritative source, which I think is worth waiting for. Your link looks good too, so I suggest you use it in your docs.
