Flawless sync with Google Drive
- If you need to share the database with another person, save it to a shared folder within Google Drive. For example,
...\Google Drive\SHARED_FOLDER\mmEX\mmEx.mmb - On Android phone navigate through the Google Drive app and find your database:
mmEx.mmb - Set to available offline.
- Run the MMEX app on your phone. Through the main menu, choose Open Database > Other > Open From Drive and choose the folder with your
mmEx.mmb - NOW THE IMPORTANT STEP: If you wish to enter transactions from Android device you should always perform step 4, before you start entering transactions and always hit Synchronize after you finish.
- Make sure Google Drive has "Unrestricted Data Access" or make sure that Drive finishes uploading your updated mmEx.mmb.
If you stick to these steps, you will never have problems with syncing.
