Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I frequently let friends borrow things and would like to keep track of them.

Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to add them as a custom/arbitrary currency.

Bill owes me 1 oscilloscope

Describe alternatives you've considered (optional)
My current strategy is a recurring reminder or a note that I delete once it's returned. This fails because I can't easily see it in once place like I can with Debts. (Tasks might also fulfill this need.)

Thanks for opening this issue! It makes sense.

Would Loan be what you are looking for (as described here: #1706) ? If so, please close this issue.

Admittedly, this ask is sort of multiple uses fitting one case. ie: I loaned Bill my oscilloscope. Therefore Bill owes me 1 Oscilloscope. However, mentally these types of transactions also fit in the same space I use for "I owe Stan 1 beer."

In other words, the Loan module mentioned in #1706 would meet the original need that spawned this request, but I believe "custom currencies" would still be useful in the "I owe you a beer" "You owe me coffee" context. And conceivably could also be used to mark a debt complete: "Sam owed me $5 yesterday. Sam bought me a coffee today. Our business here is concluded good day sir."

Does that make sense? (Trying to avoid feature creep, but I think the ultimate feature ask remains the same.)
