Automatic creation of activity entries

First of all, thank you for the great product!

Ideally I would like Monica to recognise that an interaction with a contact has taken place, by dipping into my emails and phone call history. If I have exchanged emails with a person, I would like it to be registered as an interaction, making it unnecessary to remind me of interacting with this particular relative in the near future.

What existing features can I use to acheive the same "workflow"?
If they don't exist yet, what is the easiest feature to implement that would make that workflow possible?
