Getting a Discord Bot Token

  1. Firstly, head over to the Discord Developer Portal, login with your account and create a new application.

  1. You'll then need to change the settings for your bot such as it's name, description and application picture.

  1. Then, head to the Bot page on the left sidebar and make sure you set your application as a Bot, for this click on the Add Bot button and make sure to confirm your selection when you're prompted to.

  1. Now, if you click on Click to Reveal Token you'll be able to see your bot's token.
