Video recording of around 1 second duration tends to fail

Taking a screenshot works.

Taking a video produces an mp4 file, but I cannot open it in Quicktime or VLC player.

FYI it DOES work if my video is less than 1second long :-)

Actually it seems intermittent - it's now working when I quit and reloaded

I think it's a bug - if I open the app and hit start stop start stop quite fast, it seems to screw up the app from then on.

I can reproduce an error when recording very short duration videos
