Version 0.43.1b1 creates 0byte files for some cameras with the snapshot request URL. This bug is known. It seems as if motioneye is unfortunately no longer being developed further.

I've already noticed that. The problem seems to be that the meyectl service has to be woken up first. Since I query this URL from my home automation, I always do this twice at intervals of one second. That seems to me to be the only solution at the moment...

and how you do that? can you give us a workaround?
