NotePlus uses a number of open source projects to work properly:
- HTML5 - describes the structure of Web pages using markup.
- CSS3 - is a simple mechanism for adding style to Web documents.
- Web SQL - Database is a web page API for storing data in databases that can be queried using a variant of SQL. The API is supported by Google Chrome, Opera, Safari and the Android Browser.
- Twitter Bootstrap - great UI boilerplate for modern web apps.
- Nicescroll 3 - for nice scrollbars with a very similar ios/mobile style.
- wow.js - a JavaScript plugin that reveals animations when you scroll.
And of course NotePlus itself is open source.
