Describe the bug
If you have the direct link (e.g. https://people.mozilla.org/p/Sav22999) and you are not logged you see only an empty page

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Log out if you are logged
  2. Go to https://people.mozilla.org/p/Sav22999
  3. See the empty screen

Expected behavior
It should show the profile with Public selected parameters

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [e.g. iOS] All
  • Browser [e.g. chrome, safari] All
  • Version [e.g. 22] All

Smartphone (please complete the following information):

  • Device: [e.g. iPhone6] All
  • OS: [e.g. iOS8.1] All
  • Browser [e.g. stock browser, safari] All
  • Version [e.g. 22] All

Additional context
I have correclty set parameters visible as Public and, in fact, if I log in and I go to Profile > "View as Public" I can see data.

Hi there Sav! This has been happening for quite a while now, and last this was reported it was closed as wontfix: #654

I wonder if this is still the same reasoning today though.

Ok, then actually I arrive to the same error of the other issue

Btw, it's passed more than 2 years... an a bug hasn't been fixed yet, I don't know, I think this is not too good. In the Mozilla Italia website we link to People to refer to Reps (https://www.mozillaitalia.org/contatti/) and the links, which should confirm identity of reps, don't work

#654 remains accurate; "the closure of this service to anonymous visitors is currently by design".

@floatingatoll Get exception is not "by design", because you have to catch not managed exceptions.
Anyway, great support... listen to users and reps, you're done a sublime work, congrats 👍
If it's "by design" I advice you to change the design, because that portal is totally useless in these conditions

I regret that this outcome has impacted your integration, and I continue to work towards a better resolution.
