[Bug] Calling HTML5 video APIs rapidly may permanently pause video

I filed https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1630106 to track this upstream.

Steps to reproduce

• Visit https://www.w3.org/2010/05/video/mediaevents.html
• Play the video
• Rapidly press the buttons to the right, which call HTML 5 video APIs directly. In particular, I used playbackRate++, currentTime+=10, currentTime-=10

Expected behavior

Video continues to play

Actual behavior

Eventually video will stop and I was unable to start it again. For example, the video will still be in the playing state so you can click it to pause. If you press play again, the video will not resume. If you manually seek, the video will not resume.

You can workaround this issue by refreshing the page.

• Android device: P2
• Fenix version: 200414 18:01. I may have built this locally – commit is d433836f0
