in advance: sorry for my bad english. But the .gif screenhot will show you to understand better.

  • I started i fresh firefox profile (firefox 55.0.1 64bit under Win7 prof. 64bit)
  • in about:config i set extensions.screenshots.system-disabled to false
  • i reload the site https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/ and made a screenshot --> a short popup with expire date, and then it dissapered.
  • i relaod site https://www.twodns.de/ the expire date remains

You can see the behavior in the gif

when created the gif i forgot to reload https://www.twodns.de/ but this is not from relevance. The wrong behavior is the same.

@ghost ghost added this to the General Release 55 milestone Aug 15, 2017

with Firefox Screenshots 10.12.0

Based on the console error, this seems related to #3255

We think this will be fixed when #3667 is patched. @SoftVision-CosminMuntean will confirm

@SoftVision-CosminMuntean

I can reproduce the issue on latest Nightly 58.0a1 build with Screenshots 19.2.0, but is not reproducible with latest Screeshots (23.0.0) dev version.
The user can reproduce the issue on "https://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/" website, but not on "https://www.twodns.de/" website. The only difference is that the website domain have a hyphen in it, so I think that the issue is fixed in #3667.
