[Experiment] The share/orange link leads to an “Error Page not found” page if you are not signed in #1821

  • Firefox Release 78.0.2 (Build ID: 20200708170202)
  • Chrome 84.0.4147.89
  • Firefox for Android 68.10.1
  • Firefox for iOS 27.0

[Affected Platforms]:

  • Windows 10
  • Android 10
  • iOS 12.4.6

[Prerequisites]:

[Steps to reproduce]:

  1. Access the “https://monitor-v2.herokuapp.com/share/orange” link.
  2. Observe the page.

[Expected results]:

  • The homepage opens successfully.

[Actual results]:

  • The website returns an “Error Page not found” message and the Network devtool displays a 404 response.

[Notes]:

  • This issue is not reproducible for the other share links.
  • Attached is a recording of the issue.

The issue is no longer reproducible.
The link now successfully opens the homepage for users not signed in.
Tested on Firefox Beta 80.0b1 (Windows 10, Linux Mint 19.2), Firefox Release 79.0 (Windows 10, Linux Mint 19.2), Firefox Nightly (Windows 10, Linux Mint 19.2), Firefox for Android 68.11.0 (Android 10), Firefox for iOS 27.0 (iOS 12.4.6).
As a result, I am closing this issue.
