Ubuntu - 22.04
Firefox - 100.0 (64 bit)
There are not other addons / extensions

Actual behavior

Right now, after some time of usage, it starts to make the whole firefox super slow and laggy.

Expected behavior

It should not happen. Speed and usability should not be anyway compromised.

@stockarea Could you turn off MAC and do the same to reproduce the problem? Maybe it is not related to MAC itself?

@achernyakevich-sc I tried turning off the MAC and now it is not happening. Firefox works like charm when not using MAC add-on.

@stockarea Ok. So for now we know for sure that it is really related to MAC. Next step is - getting information about other Add-Ons installed in your Firefox. Maybe problem is related not directly to MAC but the other add-on that cause problems when it runs at the same time as MAC.

Could you provide a list of installed/active add-ons. Or you could try to turn off add-ons one by one (keeping MAC active at the same time) and check if problem will gone with some disabled.

@achernyakevich-sc I told that I have no other add-ons installed on Firefox.

@stockarea sorry, I missed this fact. But in this case I have no ideas what could happen with your browser. :(

I use MAC on Windows and macOS laptops (sometimes having weeks of uptime) and never experiences problems like you describe. Though I'm just an user. Probably developers of MAC will help.

Can you

  1. type about:support in the address bar
  2. Click on "Copy raw text" button.
  3. Paste the informations here

Also, when it happens, can you look at about:processes and see which process is using a lot of resources. If you're able to take a screenshot that'd be great.
