The PDF file http://www3.cpdl.org/wiki/images/1/11/Gut_Nacht_Silcher.pdf is not displayed correctly. Screenshot pdf.js vs. Evince:

I can reproduce this, using: Windows 7 (64-bit), Firefox Nightly 33 (buildID: 20140717030339) with HWA on, and PDF.js 1.0.456. Initial investigation indicates that this is not a regression.

Edit: Reduced test-case available at https://www.dropbox.com/s/mwzp6ifayznl19o/issue5056_reduced.pdf.

I can reproduce this too using the same configuration as Snuffleupagus. Thank you for reporting this!

The issue with the fonts in this file is that some of the glyphs have side bearings entries that were previously rejected by the OpenType Sanitizer, hence this wasn't actually a bug in PDF.js.

This was reported in khaledhosny/ots#36, was fixed by khaledhosny/ots#37, and the patch was uplifted to Mozilla Central as part of https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1074223.

Closing this issue as WORKSFORME, using: Firefox Nightly 35 (buildID: 20141010030201), on Windows 7 (64-bit).
