Already love how qbrt uses a shared gecko image across the entire system. It would be exceptional if you didn't have to download this entire image each time, but rather for you to download the application and then optionally download the image if it is not already installed on the host system.
The executable size seems to be one of the major issues pushing people away from Electron.

Erm, qbrt doesn't actually share a Gecko image across the entire system. The tool downloads a single image, but it uses it to create app packages that include a copy of Gecko with each package. @cvan has expressed an interest in enabling qbrt-based apps to share a runtime, but we haven't done the engineering work that would be required to enable that.
