With the last major release Twemoji bumped their version number from 2.7 all the way to 11.0 to align with the Unicode/Emoji version:

We've also changed the major version numbering of the Twemoji project to align with Unicode's versioning to better communicate the level of Unicode support included in the Twemoji library.

Is it worth doing something similar with this project? e.g. perhaps #37 should bump to 0.11.0.

After some discussion with jfkthame this doesn't seem that doable at the moment due to the semver restrictions npm places on version numbers.
