Please implement persistent search history, similar to bash promt. Currently search history is usable only within session, when restarting then history is empty.

I have just added this feature, you can use ctrl-r to search your input history and it now persists across sessions. The change is on the develop branch: https://github.com/np1/mps-youtube/commit/d6ae3435a8cc874f30092aec1eef9d7e873612bc - it will go out with the next release.

It uses gnu readline so the feature is only for linux os's at the moment.
