Motivation

One of the stated of goals of the WARP project is to create a development environment accessible anywhere with a web browser.

  • ttyd allows to expose WARP via a web accessible terminal.

Proposal

  • Install ttyd in WARP.
  • Create a systemd service to run ttyd on boot.

Authentication is considered out of scope for now to be handled in the future on nimbus.
For now security is provided by denying ingress traffic to ttyd. Only users with ssh access can establish an ssh tunnel can connect to ttyd.
