It seems that the Download diagnostic actually modifies sensitive data, such as registration number, in HA as well. See screenshot below. It does not change the value in HA immediately, but eventually. I guess it is because data gets modified in memory for diagnostic purpose, but same data is also displayed in UI.

I did quick check in all_info sensor, and it seems that REDACTED is only set for following attributes:

  • serialNumber
  • registrationNumber

but not for the other sensitive data fields such as latitude and longitude. Strange..

Verified to be fixed in 3.0.0 Beta 3. Closing the issue
