Multi-selection should work in conjunction with search

Currently on the Party and Category screen, it is not possible to use multi-selection and search at the same time, since the contextual action bar overlays the normal action bar.

I just tried this. I was able to select a Party, search for another Party and select them, clear the search and apply the overall operation. This searches for both the parties that I chose. For some strange reason, not clearing the search results in filter being applied only for the Party that's visible on the search result screen.

Let me know if that explains what I observe well. Otherwise, I'll try to clarify.

@sivaraam Thanks for checking. You are right, this is no longer relevant for the Party screen since it does no longer use a contextual action bar (which is the UX pattern, where when you select content on a screen, the tool bar displays commands relevant for this content). It is still relevant for the Categories screen.
