20JUL2017 - The DEFIS project is an effort to create a robust, fully functional EFIS for use in home built, experimental aircraft. This includes the PFD software (this project), the physical EFIS unit itself (Raspberry Pi based), and the additional telemetry producing components (smaller MCUs than the Pi) and network interfaces.
I am a certificated Private Pilot and I'm currently planning out my own home build. During the day, I am a Software Engineer.
There are many ways to contribute and be a part of this project and I invite anyone interested to join.
