Only if the previous tied note has the same accidental, then the current note's accidental should not be shown.

I'm not understanding how this addresses the issue. With your change, how does the user create a note tied to its enharmonic equivalent?

*This fixes the previous behaviour where the accidental was always not shown if there was a tie.
In other words, if one "J"s the tied note, the accidental (if there is one) is shown since the enharmonic equivalents would have different accidentals.
