Not sure if Android allows an application to close after the screen turns off, but I would love to have that as an option, since I have children and I am frequently distracted by them, and when I turn my phone back on, the Muun app will show immediately.

It's behind a PIN but still, I have had a few instances where my son unlocks my phone, sees the Muun screen and immediately starts pressing numbers (which could potentially lock me out of Muun). Also, obviously this is not a big issue in safe countries but in some of the countries I travel to it might be better to just have the app close.

Loving Muun, amazing wallet! Viva Bitcoin. Saludos.

Hi there!

Thanks for your feedback! May I ask you a question so we can better understand your use case? When you say "close the app" you mean finishing/killing it or just sending it to the background (e.g it would still appear as the last app in "Recents apps")?

Sorry for the mega late reply. I would mean killing it (having the option to do it) indeed.

One use case that I can think of is that if the "show all apps open" tab opens up, the balance will still reveal.

Obviously nothing crucial but would be a nice option. Thanks! Again loving Muun ⚡

No problem! I think that maybe we could do something like that while we're at the home screen, because it may not be a good idea while we're in the middle of an important flow (e.g email or recovery code setup, send money, recovery, etc...).

I’ll let the team know about your request so that we take it into account.

I know it's not the same, but if it's a matter of hiding the balance, remember you can hide it by tapping on it in the home screen. It would cover the "keeping it Recents Apps tab" scenario 😉

Makes sense for it to be homescreen-only and not in the middle of any flow.

As for the balance I do usually have it hidden but when my kids run to me I tend to forget about tapping again to hide it. Not a big deal for now as I don't have the much on the wallet 😄
