code-block directive ignores 'linenos' options fro numbering lines

The 'linenos' to the code-block directive seems ignored. To verify the issue, just add :linenos: to one of the code-blocks in the example codeblocks.rst. I had a look at the source, and the option seems to be there but it doesn't do anything
